Everyone is Touched

According to the American Cancer Society,an estimated 1.7 million Americans will be diagnosed with cancer in 2018.

At any given moment, there are 15.5 million living with a history of cancer. While some of these individuals were recently diagnosed, most were diagnosed many years ago and have no evidence of cancer.

Cancer touches everyone at some point, some time.

A great day for a Survivor’s Outdoor Experience East Outing

We had such a beautiful day for our SOE Kayaking event at North Park!

So fun to share the water with old friends and new!

Getting in an early fall (10/02/21) outing before things start to cool off. Glad we could put some smiles on these wonderful faces.

Thanks to all that joined us…and to L.L. Bean for such pleasant and worthy guides.

Nature Walk with Tim McNulty May 15th

We had a wonderful day with our group hike. There were more smiles than miles and it was a great time.  It was so great to be able to move forward with our (SOE) mission of providing an Outdoor Experience for folks that have been diagnosed with cancer. Thanks, not only to Tim but also Board Member Gay Hunter and photographer extraordinaire John Gussman.

This was a great way to start our post-covid programming. We are hopeful that things will start to fall into place and that we will able to return to holding our Healing Adventure Retreats.
